AGE 5 to 8: MINI RED
Mini Tennis Red is for players 8 and under. It is played on small courts with short rackets and sponge balls or felt balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.
10.15am – 11.15am
AGE 8 & 9: MINI ORANGE
Mini Tennis Orange is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is for players aged 8 and 9. It is played with short rackets, softer balls and courts are bigger and wider than the red stage but still smaller than full-size tennis courts allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.
11.15am – 12.15pm
AGE 10 to 16 JUNIOR
These are composite classes played on a full-sized court either with low compression green balls or full compression yellow balls. Green ball tennis is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Orange and is for players aged 10 or 11. Yellow ball tennis is for those aged 11 and upwards. By adopting composite classes children can work on the same material but with a ball that suits their age/ability and players can seamlessly move from ball colour in the same group.
The cost for junior coaching sessions is £5 per non-member and £3 per member and can be paid when you arrive for your coaching session.
