The Ayrshire Ladies' Doubles Competition is held each year between the end of April and June. Ladies' matches are played weekly, usually on a Wednesday evening.

The 2011 competition starts on Wednesday 20 April, running for 11 weeks (or longer depending on the weather). Troon has entered 2 ladies' teams; the 1st team is in division 1 and the 2nd is in division 3.
